Therapeutic Approach
My approach is eclectic and evidence-based, drawing from methods such as cognitive-behavioral strategies, solution-focused techniques, attachment-informed work, and trauma-focused approaches, including EMDR-informed interventions when appropriate. I believe meaningful change happens when we look at the whole person — including emotional patterns, relationships, thought processes, sleep, stress, physical health, and lifestyle factors.
In-person sessions are my primary and preferred format, as I believe face-to-face connection is often most helpful for therapeutic work. Phone or video sessions may be available when in-office sessions are not possible.
Appointments and Scheduling
Appointments are reserved specifically for you. A minimum of 24-hour notice is required for cancellations. Late cancellations and missed appointments may be subject to a fee. Reminder texts are sent as a courtesy, but clients are responsible for attending scheduled appointments whether or not a reminder is received.
Values Statement
While my personal faith is important to me, counseling in my office is always client-centered and never faith-based unless a client specifically requests that spiritual beliefs be included as part of therapy. All clients are treated with respect and without judgment.
